A New Level

The path of the just is ordained to move from one realm of glory to another. On this first day of the month of August, I decree upon your life, a new level of glory! May the Lord begin a new thing in your life that would swallow up the memories of every former thing in your life however glorious it was.

Therefore, get set for a new level. Open up your spirit for an encounter, God wouldn’t force it on you. You have to desire and thirst first. And you cannot say you deserve a new level when you are not at your best in the level you are in. Just a shop you are managing, you open the shop any time of the day you like; you treat customers anyhow, speak to them disrespectfully not caring if they stop patronizing you. You do not take stock, nor have accurate record of your transactions, you just buy, sell, use items from the shop without paying and you are praying for more shops? If you are God, would you open another shop for such a person?

This also applies to every aspect of life: family life, academics, ministry etc. As a pastor of a small local assembly, you cannot coordinate the affairs of that assembly. You have no administrative structure how things would run, neither do you seek knowledge from others ahead of you to put you through. You have no mentor, you are your all-in-all, doing things as you like and you are praying for expansion and the opening of other branches.

God proves us in the current level we are before launching us to higher level. You may not be perfect but be sincere to yourself and put in your best where you are presently.

If you cannot manage a self-contain apartment, keeping it clean and well organized, is it a three bedroom flat that you can manage? Go back to wherever you have missed it and do your best. It is the season for a new level, and you can’t afford to miss it.
