Higher Ways for Higher Life

Walking in the ways of God is what guarantees a higher life; for His ways are higher ways and His thoughts are higher thoughts. To subscribe to logical reasoning or the wisdom of men is to live a lower life like the mere man. The higher ways may not be the popular chase of men because carnal men would want to satisfy their flesh by going for what would almost immediately give them pleasure. They want quick rewards and gains from whatever they are involved in and as such wouldn’t mind cutting corners to arrive there. But the higher ways which is the wisdom of God undergo divine process; it follows the principles which makes one a principal. It builds and gives inheritances which are lasting and it gives eternal peace. No wonder Acts 20:32 declares, “And now brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”

To be of God and not submit to the ways of God is to suffer again. It is the higher ways of God that puts one in charge on the earth. No one can walk in dominion without the higher ways of God at work in his life. The world system needs a superior system to subdue it and bring it into submission. It is the higher ways of God that gives one the greatness of His power that compels the enemy to submit themselves unto God. Psalm 66:3.

You have limited yourself all this while because you have not completely given yourself to obeying the command of God which are his higher ways. When you give yourself to absolute obedience, your life becomes an expression of the higher life.
