Old Things Are Passed Away

When you receive Christ into your life, as Scripture declares, you are a new creature. You have to understand that when the Scripture says, “Old things are passed away…” it is talking about the nature which was in you that was subject to sin, defeat, sickness, failure and death. You have received a new life, you have been made a new creature.

The first creation fell because of the sin of Adam, but the new creature is born after the second Adam, Jesus Christ. You have to receive this truth into your spirit. When you understand this truth, failure, sickness and defeat will cease to be part of your life. This is because these are products of the old nature. All things are become new, and all these new things are in you, the child of God. The life of God is now resident in you.

The reason some Christians still live in any form of defeat is because they are living in the past. They are still living with the mindset of what they used to be and where they came from. They have not come into the reality of where they are now. They need to understand that the new creation life is a super-life, void of struggle, and pain but full of glory!

The New life is your reality. Walk therefore in dominion.
