Be Courageous
Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest. - Joshua 1:7
Courage is a required necessity to walk with God. Three times God told Joshua to be courageous. Without courage, we can't get into our Promised Land. Courage is what keeps you going despite obvious dangers ahead. Courage is the strength and the very backbone of champions. If David had not encouraged himself in the Lord, he would have lost his wives, children and possessions to the enemy forever. But as soon as he encouraged himself, the situation turned around for his good (1 Samuel 30:6). The word of God, which says, “All things work together for good” is only applicable to the courageous in Christ (Romans 8:28). The problem is that so many try to seek for courage outside God, and anything gotten outside God will fail. It was courage that emboldened David to challenge Goliath. It was courage that motivated Paul and Silas to sing and praise God inside the prison in spite of the pain and hardship they had gone through for His name, and at the end of it, they were exonerated. Always stay courageous, and challenges will give way at your appearance. You never know the littleness of a problem until you confront it.
