God Secures His Own 3

Child of God, in as much as God has ensured your safety in the Ark, you have to abide by His principles which keep you safe in the Ark. He says, “Abide in me, and I in you,” and you will be eternally secured.

How then do you abide in Him and He in you? “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in His love.” By obeying the commandments of God, you are abiding in Him (John 15:10). “If a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him” (John 14:23).

Keeping God’s commandments is what makes you His disciples indeed and that forever guarantees your safety. John 8:31 says, “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.” In other words, if you are not a disciple indeed, you may not enjoy safety indeed. Safety comes along with the gift of salvation, but you may get yourself out through disobedience, and God cannot go against His word. He is a God of principles with laid down structures to enjoy His eternal provisions; whoever abides therein enjoys the benefit therein. To go against His commands is to break the hedge and open up yourself for the serpent to bite (Ecclesiastes 10:8). Disobedience drove Adam and Eve from Eden, the garden of safety, despite they were created by God to be in charge.
