From Bitter to Better 2

Outside Christ Jesus, life is full of crises that are overwhelming, with hope shattered. Men roam helter-skelter yet return in a circle to square one because the One who holds the key to lasting peace and rest is not piloting the affairs of their lives. Though invited, many feel they can shoulder all that comes their way, hence they continue to suffer. The invitation is still open to you.

You can take that wise decision and come to Jesus today. You can cast those burdens upon Him for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). He says in Revelation 3:20, “Behold I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him and he with me.” When you come to Him and abide in Him and He in you, His life of eternal peace will overwhelm your life. Your life will take a new turn, moving from bitterness to sweetness.

At age 75, Abraham was still staying in his father’s house with nothing tangible associated with him. Scripture reports that the LORD had instructed him to get out of the country and from his kindred and from his father’s house unto a country He would show him, that He would make him a great nation and bless his name. At that age, he departed with all he had, obeying the voice of the Lord. And in chapter 13, he became very rich in cattle, in silver and in gold; his life progressed in God, he later had his child of promise and was blessed in all things. He died at a very good age (Genesis 24:1).

No one comes to the Lord that is not transformed from glory to glory.
