Triggers of Divine Favour

Every child of God has been born into a life of favour. Scripture says of Jesus, our perfect example, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man” (Luke 2:52). You can also enjoy that kind of favour all the days of your life if you can increase your expectation by longing for the favour of God. Stop limiting God in your mind by looking up to your salary or daily and monthly pay for your labour. Your salary is just a fraction of God’s blessing; God has more in store for you which ought to come to you as favour. This is the problem with most civil servants—they tie their expectations to their salaries; hence God could only bless the little desires of the hearts that emanate from their salaries.

It takes favour to be satisfied and be full of the blessings of the Lord. Therefore, let your expectations be big; do not settle for anything less than God’s best, otherwise that is what you will get. Lazarus, in Luke chapter 16:20-21, was a child of God, but his wrong desire to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table limited him to his beggarly condition. You can experience the favour of God bountifully if you can only desire it. Favour is expected to come to you daily because God loads you with His benefits every day (Psalms 68:19). It is through His favour that you can showcase His glory as the God of prosperity.

Therefore, with a holy anger today, begin to pray away whatever has tampered with your expectations. I see you overwhelmed with your expectations and see you overwhelmed with favour from today.
