Allow God Reach You

In the scenario of our text, Naaman, the captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master and very honourable but he was a leper who, through the help of his little maid, a captive from Israel, came to Elisha for healing. When he got to the door of the house of Elisha with his horses and with his chariots, Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, “Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.” Instead of rejoicing that he had gotten a solution to his leprosy, he was angry because he had a preconceived method of how he would be prayed for and he almost missed his healing.

Child of God, release yourself unto God. Be meek and allow Him perfect His deeds in your life. Allow Him reach you with His healings, provision and direction. All you need from the Lord is an instruction and not how dramatic you expect the instruction to be. Your ability to obey His demands is what brings about the desired result. Scripture says, “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” Don’t programme your mind that your name must be mentioned via prophecy for you to receive the touch of God. Thank God for the servants of Naaman who were sincere and concerned for their master’s healing and convinced him to yield to the instruction of Elisha and he did and he eventually came out whole, with his flesh like that of a child… God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty (1 Corinthians 1:27). However, He wants to reach you, please allow Him.
