God Secures His Own

And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.

God always makes provision for the safety of His own in any situation of life. As explained in our anchor text, when He wanted to destroy the earth with flood in the days of Noah, He first instructed the building of the ark and ensured the safety of Noah and his household in the ark, including every living thing of both male and female which He intended to keep alive as seed upon the face of the earth (Genesis 7:13-16).
If God could ensure the preservation of other living creatures, what about you, a child of the covenant, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb? Salvation brought you into the ark of safety, which is Christ Jesus. Your life is hid with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3). In Christ you live, move, and have your being (Acts 17:28). It does not matter the plague ravaging the world or the evil happening around; the consciousness that you are of God and secured in His ark shields you.
You must walk with that mentality and not give yourself to the spirit of fear which breaks the edge around the children of God. 1 John 5:19 says, “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.” So, your knowledge that you are of God exempts you from the wickedness in the world. It makes your life secure in the safety already provided by God for the righteous. Do not panic like the unsaved out there. That consciousness of safety is what makes the righteous run into the name of the Lord, which is a strong tower, and be safe even in the midst of evil (Proverbs 18:10).
Prayer
My Father, my Father! As I begin to pray, awake in me the consciousness of my safety in you at all times.
