Bible Text

Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

Psalm 102:13-14

Devotional

Whatever seed you sow in the kingdom of God would be multiplied unto you. Become a lover of God and give bountifully to the things of God. The Bible says, “And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places. And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar. In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee” (1 Kings 3:3-5).

Favouring the kingdom of God triggers divine favour. If you must reap favour, you must sow favour. You are the one to locate a need in God’s house, meet it and catapult yourself to the next level. You have in your hands what it takes to activate divine favour, so go into action now and reap favour in your life.

If I may ask, what is in the house of God that has your name tied to it? When the building of the temple was going on, what role did you play? In the spreading of the Gospel thus far, what is your contribution tied to? When God looks down from above, what would He see as your seed for Him to favour you? Scripture says, “With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright” (Psalm 18:25). You can provoke favour by sowing favour. So, start now.

Prayer

My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I receive grace to favour your righteous cause.
