Bible Text

And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the Lord: possess thou the west and the south.

Deuteronomy 33:23

Devotional

Your lineage is that of favour. You are to be satisfied with favour and full of the blessing of the Lord. There is a limit to the satisfaction that labour can give you; it is only favour that can make a man’s face to glow continually because what he has is not a product of his efforts but by the favour of God. This is the very reason that you have to be a person of prayer in order to continually provoke the favour of God upon your life.

There are oppositions that abound and aim to disconnect the people of God from their divine destinies in God. You must pray them out of your life. If it is in your foundation, you must disconnect your life base on what Christ has done for you on the altar of prayer.

One of such oppositions in scriptures was in the person of Haman in the book of Esther. Haman went all out to stop the Jews, but Esther and her people engaged in a three-day fast and the evil decree against them was changed. Protocols were broken because of the uncommon favour that rested upon Esther due to the fact that they prayed. Prayer enables you to do God’s will, even against the will of the flesh. It also quickens the manifestation of the reward of your obedience. Daniel’s prayer made God to answer speedily, and the same prayer provoked an intervention against the delay of the answer. If you can pray, you will continually trigger the favour from your kingdom lineage over your life.

Prayer

My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, every opposition to my being favoured, I crush you by fire.
