If You Seek... PART 2

Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I had lost.

Devotional
Whatever you seek is in the word of God. Make up your mind to sit with the word. Studying the word of God is an act of discipline. No man is gifted in disciplining himself, men give themselves to it. You have to call yourself to order, you have to desire for a change of status; you have to long to come out from that situation of life which does not glorify God; and discipline yourself to get the solution in the word. If only you can seek for that word, that is the answer to that question in your heart, you will find it (Matthew 7:7).
Being poor is an anti-covenant status, being barren is a mockery of redemption, being single and ageing is not God’s plan for you. You have to be eager and desirous for change. God will not force transformation on you, when you seek it, you will find it. The devil knows that the knowledge of the truth makes free, so he distracts people from it.
Make a decision today not to fall prey to his tricks. The Bible says, “Resist the devil and he will flee from you”. James 4:7. The devil does not have power over you, but you do over him. Make up your mind, settle with the word and you shall enjoy settlement in every aspect of your life.
Prayer
My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, help me to settle down with the word so I can enjoy settlement in life.
