Bible Text

For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

Deuteronomy 7:6

Devotional

The way some Christians walk timidly and dejectedly as if the world is crashing in on them baffles me. That is an anti-covenant attitude. They fail to understand that God has chosen them as a special people unto Him; above all people that are on the face of the earth. That is why you are bigger than any circumstance.

You are special, a very important being to God who sacrificed His only begotten Son to get you back to Him. Don’t give the devil a laugh over you by living under the weight of a problem you were created to solve. Understand that problems gravitate towards their solutions, meaning it has come and it will pass. There is a way out of any challenge when you think straight, look inward from the stand point of the special class you belong to as the light of the world and the salt of the earth, (Matthew 5:13-14), a god, the child of the most High, (Psalm 82:6). When you look at the problem from the mirror of the word of God, you get the solution and you deal with it as the god that you are. God gave you His word to rule your world. (John 10:35).

Therefore, carry yourself with dignity. Let your carriage, package and entire atmosphere speak of God. A god is not intimidated or oppressed. No! Think like a kingdom ambassador. Dress like a kingdom ambassador, talk like a kingdom ambassador, for you are an ambassador for Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:20). Make God proud of you.

Prayer

My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, whatever is fighting my kingdom identity, be consumed by fire.
