Worry Not!

Apostle Johnson Suleman

Bible Text

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Matthew 6:25

Devotional

Worry does not add anything positive to a man’s destiny, rather it destroys it because it kills one’s ability to reason one’s way out of that challenge. And if care is not taken, it leads to other health challenges such as high blood pressure, cardiac arrest etc. There is no mountain that cannot be brought down if only you have peace and sought the solution in God. There is no valley too low that cannot be assessed. In every challenge is the solution, you need the right mind and spirit to assess it.

Our anchor text asked a question “Is not life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Why?” Most things men worry about are trivial; they worry for their upkeep forgetting that God who owns their lives is more than able to provide for them. The Almighty God who is the ALL IN ALL, the I AM THAT I AM, the Ever Present Help in time of need is all you need in every circumstance, and all His children would ever need are available in Him. He prepared them before He put them on earth just like He prepared the garden of Eden before placing Adam in it, so why are you worrying. “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?” (Matthew 6:26)

Child of God, God is committed in taking care of you.

Prayer

My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, help me to look up to you despite challenges and stop worrying.
