Bible Text
Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Jeremiah 32:27
Devotional
Child of God, you have to be daring in your faith to receive the promises of God in your life. Refuse to be deceived by your circumstances. In this Kingdom, we walk by faith not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Faith is a force that pleases God (Hebrews 11:6). Faith sees what God has done and walks in the reality of it. It says what it should be, as God declared it, and not what is happening. It rejoices on the promise of God knowing they would surely manifest, and it is not sad, troubled or bothered at the present situations on ground. It gives no room to doubt by dwelling on how God would bring His promises to pass. With faith it is “God said it”, it is a done deal for God is able to do far exceedingly abundantly above all we could think or ask of; for He could do all things.
In 2 Kings 7:2, a lord on whose hand the king leaned was so foolish to be carried away by the physical happening (famine), that he downplayed the supernatural act of God declared by Elisha. Elisha said, “Hear ye the word of the Lord, thus saith the Lord tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel in the gate of Samaria.”
And the lord said, “Behold if the Lord, would make windows in heaven, might this thing be?” And Elisha said he would see it with his eyes and would not taste of it. As Elisha declared, God wrought wonders and brought abundance of food into the city through four leprous men. To bring His word to pass, God didn’t even use warriors, but leprous men. What a God of great possibilities! And as for the lord who downplayed the supernatural, right at the gate when abundance had come, the people trampled upon him and he died. God does not need to make sense for you to believe Him.
Prayer
My Father, my father! Thank You for being so faithful. Help my faith Lord.
